Learning to Drive in Salford Quays
Salford Quays is an area of Salford, Greater Manchester, England, near the end of the Manchester Ship Canal. Previously the site of Manchester Docks, it became one of the first and largest urban regeneration projects in the United Kingdom following the closure of the dockyards in 1982. The area was rebranded as Salford Quays and redevelopment by Urban Waterside began in 1985 under the Salford Quays Development Plan.
Mo is such an amazing teacher. From the very first lesson, he was so calm and reassuring – which is exactly what you need when you’re learning to drive. His relaxed attitude meant I never panicked, and I always felt safe and in control. On top of being super funny and easy to talk to – he taught me everything I needed to know meaning I was totally prepared on the day of my test!
I was really anxious to start driving but Mo immediately put me at ease – he’s so kind, so enjoyable to chat with and will tell you clearly how to improve (but usually in a funny way). Mo is so good at judging what you’re able to do, how to step up gradually and knowing when you’re a bit overwhelmed/need to chill. If you trust him, he’ll guide you perfectly. My experience has been great and I’m genuinely excited and feeling confident to drive now. Would highly recommend!!
He is a brilliant instructor who is patient, flexible and funny, he ensures you are ready for your test in every way and pushes you to become a better driver. I couldn’t recommend him enough and I enjoyed every minute of it!
